Our History

Thompson Insurance was founded by Chet Thompson in 1963. Chet founded this company on the belief that the customers’ needs be placed above all else and this belief still exists today. It has grown from a single agent shop to one of the largest agencies in the area. Chet’s strong family values and ethics have been the building blocks to maintaining the agency. Chet also believes in supporting the community by serving and volunteering on numerous boards and committees. After 50 + years, Thompson Insurance is still growing. Our knowledgeable and professional staff wants to work with you and will earn your trust. We promise to work hard to get you the BEST insurance VALUE for your dollar.
